The Angels Camp Veterans Memorial District exists to serve and memorialize the veterans of the United States Military Forces within the district and is funded  by a small portion of the property taxes collected by the county in the district boundaries.  We have a Veterans Hall available to veterans, veterans groups and community groups.  We also have a nutrition program for veterans that distributes gift certificates to veterans during the holidays to help ease the cost of food during the holidays and ensure that all eligible veterans can enjoy a Thanksgiving and Christmas meal.  We also provide scholarships to children of local veterans through a competive scholarship application process.
